Elaine M. Cohen is a member of the New Jersey, Florida and Arizona Bars. She received her B.A. (graduation with distinction) from George Mason University and her J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law. After graduation from law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Leonard J. Arnold, formerly P.J.Cr. for the Superior Court, Somerset County.

Ms. Cohen has lectured for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Ms. Cohen is a co-author of "Fed and State Law May Apply to Transfer of Firearm to a Beneficiary" (New Jersey Law Journal, December, 2016) and authored numerous articles including "Do New Jersey Firearms Owners Need a Gun Trust?" (New Jersey Business Magazine, April 2019); "Practical Tips for Drafting a Buy/Sell" (New Jersey State Bar Association Business Law Section Newsletter, Vol. 42, No. 2, Feb. 2019); "The Dangers in Unpaid Interns: Employers Beware!" (New Jersey Law Journal, September, 2016);"Misclassification of Employees - Risky Business II" (New Jersey State Bar Association Business Law Section Newsletter Vol. 39, No. 1 - October, 2015).
